The Informer provides the largest and most comprehensive events listing of any magazine in the Northeast. If you would like your venue or band included free in the Informer's monthly listings, please supply the information in a standard Word file using the following format example:

Thursday 27th June

Name Of The Band, Artist, Or Show

Up to ten words of description.

£7.50 – 8.00pm (if it is free just state “Free – 8.00pm”, no need to use the word ‘tickets’)

The Venue Name, Address (remember you want people to find you)

0191 222 9999 (venue phone number for queries and ticket info. No need to use ‘Tel’)

Please note we do not use BLOCK CAPITALS, bold or underlines for band names and venues. Each show should be in the above format, so if you are a venue with twenty shows in the month, each one should be complete with the venue name, phone and address details. Thank you for your cooperation.

Note that the Informer also covers the first full week of the following month. Therefore for the next issue, please also include gigs up to and including the first Saturday of the next month.

As you will appreciate, we get lots of listings information each month. Using the above format ensures that your events are included. If the above format is not used your information will be included only if we have enough time to retype your information.

The deadline for entries is usually the 19th of each month. Please ask us to quote you for a low-cost display advert to help promote your event - it really isn't expensive!
